Rathi Group foundation was laid by Late Shri Rama Kishan Rathi whose name is taken as a symbol for honesty, sincerity, integrity, and hard work. He embarked on the rice and oil industry and established himself as one of the largest Rice and Oil trader in Nepal.
In the process of expansion of the business, the group diversified into various other industries like electrical, adhesives, hardware, education, medical, dairy, tourism, and many more.
The electrical division of Rathi Group commonly known as "Rathi Electricals" was initiated with
the establishment of Annapurna Electricals under the able guidance of our group director, Mr. Krishna Kumar Rathi, in 1983AD. The company is dedicated to manufacturing various electrical accessories as our manufacturing unit was established in Biratnagar to cater quality products to market. Later on, we established Rathi Manufacturing in the year 2003AD under the able guidance of our group director, Mr. Rajendra Kumar Rathi. This unit is also dedicated to the manufacturing of electrical accessories, LED Lighting Fixtures, and many more products.
Very soon the division realized that the products manufactured in the aforementioned units are not able to satisfy the demand for quality products in the market, we established Annapurna Impex in the year 2006AD under the direction of Mr. Jitendra Kumar Rathi, and Mr. Rajendra Kumar Rathi. This unit is dedicated to the trading of the goods imported from India, China, Singapore, and many more countries. This unit does OEM from renowned companies having state-of-art technologies, and production processes. Besides trading OEM products, the company started getting associated with world-renowned brands like Schneider; Crompton, C&S, TMC transformers, and others to cater world-class products in the market.
